Blackwell hosted their annual Battle for Ring youth wrestling tournament Saturday January 9th in the Kay county fairgrounds event center.
With Covid still causing some tournament cancellations and given the very prestigious medallions and champions ring that Blackwell awards, over 950 youth wrestlers attended the Blackwell event in quest for a sweet souvenir.
