Willard Keith Fish was born January 9, 1945, in Iowa, and passed peacefully in his sleep March 4, 2024 at the Oklahoma City Veteran Hospital at the age of 79 years.

He proudly served in the United States Army for six years. He worked many jobs, retiring from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation as a heavy equipment driver.

He and Paula were friends, then fell in love after a few years. They married on February 14, 1997, for 28 short years. In that time, they spent many happy times riding the Harley he so loved, working on Volkswagens and attending car and bike shows. They also enjoyed camping. Most of all they loved the grandkids, helped raise a few, and later fostered children.

He leaves behind his loving wife Paula; son Chris Jakl in Germany; daughters: April Fish, Trisha DeWeese and her husband Blake, Shelly Schovanec and Bobbie Hoffman; grandchildren: Kayla Shrum and husband Colby, Jonathon Schovanec and wife Angel, Brett Schovanec and Ashley McCarthy and husband Andrew. Sam (Nev) Payne; and 10 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brother and close friend Conrad Knab and his wife Gail, as well as his nieces and nephews, and a brother Pat Knab. He is preceded in death byhisparents,Dorothyand Leroy Fish, young brother Barry, sister Margaret, daughter Angela Hoffman and her son Hunter, and a sweet granddaughter whom they raised and called their angel, Brook Payton.

He will be dearly missed by his wife and family, his brother bikers and so many friends along thew way.

Dighton-Marler Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Visitation was held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 7, and funeral services were 10 a.m. Friday, March 8 at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home Chapel-Perry. A burial followed at Grace Hill Cemetery.
