Mrs. Nancy Ann Burks Schwab has gone to heaven. She was 76 years young at the time of her passing on February 27, 2021 at her home. Nancy was born on November 28, 1944 in Ponca City to James Frank Burks and Betty Jo (Box) Burks. She attended Perry schools and was a member of the Nazarene Church. She worked at Perry schools as well as many office jobs including being self-employed at Tax Service and Words and Cents. She met and married the love of her life, Everett Bill Schwab on November 9, 1963 at the First Baptist Church of Perry. They shared many happy years together raising their family with love and kindness. Nancy enjoyed painting ceramics, going to the casinos, and collecting beautiful dolls. She had an impressive collection of porcelain dolls in her home. She also loved dogs and seemed to always have 3 at a time.

Nancy was reunited in heaven with her parents James and Betty Burks, husband Everett Bill Schwab and grandson Chris Dilley.

Nancy is survived by her daughter Robyn Dilley and her husband Greg of Maramec, son Kirby Schwab of Perry, daughter Carma Schwab of Perry, grandchildren: Keli Haxton and her husband Rusty of Maramec, Chayce Schwab of Stillwater, Kameron Schwab of Ft. Bragg, NC, and Edward McAplin and his wife Amanda of Beaver. Also left behind are great grandchildren Taylor Haxton, Hunter Dilley, and Landon Sumpter, sister-in-law Patty Laughlin and her husband Terry, sister-in-law Leota Henry and sister-in-law Charlene Marker and her husband Jimmy, special friends Willa Stover and Sandy Cockrum, and last but not least, dogs Conner, Mitzy and Gidget.

Friends are invited to stop by the funeral home to pay their respects and sign her registry book on Thursday (3/4) from noon until 7 pm as well as Friday (3/5) from 10 until 5pm. The family reception will begin at 5 and last until 7pm on Friday (3/5) at the Funeral Home. Refreshments will be provided, please stop by and mingle as we reminisce. Funeral Services at Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 beginning at 10 a.m. Pastor Steve Smith will officiate. Honorary bearers for the service include Terry Laughlin, Rusty Haxton. Kameron Schwab, Chayce Schwab, and Eddie McAlpin.
