Dolores Ann (Bradshaw) Hodge, 89, of Perry passed away April 5, 2024, in Perry, Oklahoma surrounded by her family. Dolores was born on October 7, 1934, the daughter of Virgil Amzie Bradshaw and Iola Pearl (Shelton) Bradshaw. Raised in Perry, she attended school in Perry graduating from Perry High School in the spring of 1952.

On August 2, 1951, she married her high school sweetheart Dan Allen Hodge. They were married until his death in 2020.

In addition to raising three children, Dolores was active in her church, in the Esther Rebekah Lodge, and in the Campfire Girls. She played piano, sang in the church choir and held many offices in all three organizations. During her work career, she worked at the Sears catalog store, at Perry T.V. repair shop, and then ended her work career after nineteen years as a bookkeeper for Exchange Bank and Trust.

When asked what her greatest accomplishment was, she would reply, “my family.” This was indeed the case. Dolores was devoted to her family. In addition to attending the activities that her children were involved in; she attended the activities that her grandchildren did. She attended sports events, performances, awards ceremonies, graduations, weddings and other events that involved her family members. Her house was a gathering hub for the family with many holidays and birthdays celebrated there. One could always find one of her frozen oatmeal cookies in the freezer. Even the great-grandchildren knew where Grandma Dolores’s cookies were. She is survived by her son Dan Hodge, Jr. and his wife Lynn of Perry, daughter Linda Cline and her husband Kerry of Perry, son Michael Hodge and his wife Melanie of Edmond, grandchildren: Stephen Hodge and his wife Amber, Patrick Hodge and his wife Blake, Stacy Wilson and her husband Bryan, Tyler Cline and his wife Karlee, Leslea Wagner and her husband Colby, Brent Hodge and his wife Jordan, Clinton Hodge and his wife Ashley, Stanya Rose and her husband Mark, Shanna Spears and her husband Wayne, and Shawn Dunbar and his wife Asia. In addition, she is survived by her brother Clarence Bradshaw.
