Thanksgiving Thoughts

On Nov. 26, Perry CR will not be meeting, as we feel it is important to be spending time with our families on Thanksgiving Day.

We hope you will have a safe and happy holiday.

On Dec. 3, we will have Thaddeus Black giving his testimony at Perry Nazarene Church, at 6:30 pm. He will be sharing his story of redemption in recovery.

We look forward to sharing this time with him once again.

So if you have a hurt, habit or hang-up don’t miss out hearing his amazing story.

On Nov. 12, we had 11 to hear a testimony from our DVD collection and what an inspirational story of recovery, I can’t say enough of how great our testimonies are from our DVD collection.

On Nov. 19, we had 9 in attendance to hear a reading from the book, Eight Steps from the Edge of Hell From Addiction to Ministry in Ukraine copyright by Nazarene Publishing House written by Sherry Pinson.

This is about how bad drug addiction is in the Ukraine and how some are getting help from the Nazarene Missions group there.

It is truly heartwarming how they have found recovery there.

At Perry Nazarene Church this past Sunday (Nov. 22) we got to get up and tell what we are thankful for.

It got me to thinking what I’m thankful for and how much that has changed since being diagnosed with lung cancer.

I’m thankful for just another day of life. Getting more time to spend with my family and friends.

Getting to enjoy those relationships that are so dear to me now.

I’m so thankful for being rescued by my Lord and Savior from a terrible drug addiction and everything that went with that.

Thank you Lord, for fixing this broken life!
