The Speech Pathologist Kelsey Cottom and Special Education Teacher Megan. James, went into pre-k, kindergarten, first, second, and third grades to give an informative lesson over disabilities, people-first language, and what inclusion means and looks like.
The students practiced recognizing what was and what was not people-first language. “The students caught on so quickly!” James reports.
