Melissa Coker, registered with FB&T, was the Week One winner of the PDJ’s Chris-Giving Cheer Box giveaway!

Week One of the promotion was themed ‘How to Cook a Turkey’ in which Perry Elementary’s Second Grade students submitted their unique ways of how they think a turkey should be cooked.

Coker was gifted with several items in reference to the theme.

Jack Fierro, registered with PDJ, was the Week Two winner of the PDJ’s Chris-Giving Cheer Box giveaway! Week Two of the promotion was themed ‘Christmas in our Churches and Many Blessings’.

Fierro was also gifted with several items in reference to the theme.

The PDJ’s Chris-Giving Cheer Box giveaway is a collaboration between eight local businesses: Kennedy’s Tru Value, Thorn’s Originals, Cedar Street Boutique, Kumback Cafe, Stillwater Mill, Exchange Bank of Perry, FB&T of Perry, and Perry Daily Journal.

This collaboration is meant to spread some ‘holiday cheer’!

The giveaways will go on for five weeks... in which five Cheer Boxes are delivered to winners.

Weeks One and Two winners may have already been drawn, but there are still three weeks left to participate!

Each of the above listed businesses will be taking entries each week, from Friday - Friday.

Entry forms will be available at any of the eight businesses, and there will be special bags where entry forms can be gathered each week.

Customers are limited to one entry per visit to any businesses listed above.

One winner will be chosen each week for five weeks, with a live drawing for the winner happening each Friday.

After the drawing, entries from the previous week will be disposed of and new entries will be gathered for the following week’s drawing.

The Cheer Box giveaways began Friday, Nov. 12.

The third week will end Friday, Dec. 4 when the third winner among entrants at all businesses will be drawn.

Items included in boxes will be provided by participating businesses and other locations.

This giveaway is also part of the PDJ’s five week Chris-Giving promotion.
