Operation Blessing is also seeking donations for their Holiday Meal boxes for the Christmas holidays.

These meal boxes are to ‘ensure everyone has a good holiday meal this year.’

These donations can include ham, turkey, boxed dressing, cranberry sauce, holiday pies, whipped topping, sweet potatoes, marshmallows, rolls, butter, eggs, milk, roasting pans, pineapples, turkey gravy, and potatoes.

Operation Blessing also has a stocking pantry for items/food items that are needed for families in need. Items that can be donated to the stocking pantry include, but are not limited to: spaghetti and other types of pasta, sauces for spaghetti and other meals, canned meat - spam, tuna, chicken and Vienna sausages, soups and chili, crackers and other snacking foods, peanut butter, boxed macaroni and cheese, canned ravioli, dry beans, cereal, oatmeal, pop-top cans, other simple “back-pack” meals for travelers and items such as shampoo, conditioner, body soap, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes.

Operation Blessing also takes donations year round of clothing, dishes, utensils, games, books, shoes, food items, hygiene items, furniture, and several other items.

Operation Blessing hosts shopping days for families and individuals in need several times a month. They usually host a weekend shopping day, two days a month for shoppers and two days a month for shoppers of the vulnerable population.

This is done to help protect the vulnerable shoppers from any sickness.

Current drop off location is Operation Blessing, located at 803 Market Street, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
