Looking to donate goods or your time? Check out the Perry Food Pantry.
The local food pantry, located on the East Side of the Square behind Schieffer’s Insurance takes donations year-round, not just during the holidays.
They also serve members of the community year-round.
Perry Food Pantry can always use food donations of all kinds and those interested can even donate their own time as a volunteer helping prepare for their shopping days or as delivery drivers as Perry Food Pantry shifts to more nocontact deliveries with the rise of active cases in the area.
As a reminder, December there will only be one distribution day due to the holidays.
The delivery date for December will be Thursday, Dec. 16 - 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.
Everything else will be business as usual! They will post on their Facebook page the Monday prior, as usual, to remind everyone eligible to check in for delivery.
